Gut Gauge (“we”) provides educational gut health tools and content. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- On your device only: assessment answers and your Gut Score result in browser storage so the report can reload. We do not store full questionnaire answers on our servers today.
- If you submit your email: email address, score summary fields (overall score, band, domain scores, assessment type and version), marketing preference, and time of submission. We use Brevo to process this.
- Usage: standard hosting and analytics logs if analytics are enabled.
How we use it
- Show your Gut Score and recommendations in the product
- Email your score summary when you ask us to
- If you opt in, send educational tips, product updates, and offers
- Improve the product and understand what content works
What we do not do
We do not sell your email. We do not use the tool as a medical record system. Gut Score is educational, not a diagnosis.
Email and marketing
Transactional messages (for example your score summary) are sent when you request them. Marketing tips and offers require your opt-in where shown. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those messages.
Processors
We use infrastructure providers such as Vercel (hosting) and Brevo (email and contacts) to operate the service.
Retention
Browser data stays until you clear site data. Email/contact data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or as needed for legitimate operations.
Your choices
Clear site data in your browser to remove local scores. Email hello@gutguage.com to request access or deletion of contact data we hold.
